A Place to Rest, Relax, and Recharge

Villa Soumela and Villa Stathis are sister villas located on the beautiful island of Lefkada, Greece. The villas are built above the village of Nikiana on a mountain slope. Both of them have breathtaking Ionian ocean views. Each of them features a private garage, a private swimming pool, a pool deck and a large surrounding yard area. It is the perfect place for families and friends to retreat, relax and recharge.

Each villa comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The 3-story villa is 200 square meters and the whole property area is ~ 1000 square meters. 

The road in front of the villa is enlarged making it is easy for guests to access the remote controlled private garage. There is an orchard across the road with a pergola from which guests may enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean. There are scenic hiking trails for guests to enjoy at the top of the mountain.

The beaches around Lefkada Island are among the most crystal clear beaches in the world. A beautiful local beach is a short walk down the mountain (1km). Nikiana beach is 2km away. It is a great beach for families with little children since it has clear and calm shallow water. Other world-famous beaches such as Porto Katsiki, Engremni and Kathisma make a nice day trip by car.

Our villas are situated between the towns of Lefkada and Nydri which makes it convenient for sightseeing, wining, dining, water sports, nightlife and much more. The proximity of our villas to these attractions gives our guests easy access to town life as well as a totally private, peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

Our stylish and modern villas offer our guests a luxury experience. All of the materials used for pavement are marble or premium quality tiles; the windows and the doors are of top German quality. The spacious outdoor terrace next to the master bedroom provides not only another area to sit and relax, but also a panoramic view of the sea. The large glass doors in the living room and the master bedroom allow our guests to watch the sunrise from inside the house. The views from inside and from outside the house are magnificent.

The private swimming pool in each villa is 8m*4m. It is a perfect place for cooling off, for swimming and for simply splashing around. There is an outdoor shower next to the pool. There are lounge chairs and an umbrella around the large pool deck area.

Villa soumela and Villa Stathis are both well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans. The American style refrigerator provides fresh filtered water and a constant supply of ice. Both villas are fully air-conditioned with a remote controlled air conditioning unit in each room except the basement which remains fresh throughout the year. Wi-Fi is available in the villa. In the cinema room downstairs there is a 55 inch flat-screen TV and a comfortable couch that accommodates up to 6 guests. A washing machine, a dryer and a freezer are available in the large laundry room.

We stayed at Villa Soumela for 12 nights (extended from an initial stay of 8 nights – yes we like it that much!). The location is exceptional, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the Greek mainland and Lefkada, where are a lot of things to do and good places to eat. We were very well looked after with an exceptional accommodation, including everything that we could need, at high standards, with a nice pool to hang out (especially for the kids) and overall great services. We have traveled with our young kids and a group of friends enjoying a great time. If you have a week, at the end of the day we will stay for a little bit longer. The villa finishes are top class (travertine stone and marble) with a nice private pool, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, multimedia room (so used for living also), private garage for two cars with tunnel access into the house. The location is safe and peaceful with amazing sun rising over the bay. You and the owner of the villa, Sophia and Christos that were creating this beautiful holiday retreat, so this is a location where we will try to come back.

Villa bellissima, pulitissima e curata nei minimi particolari sia all’interno che all’esterno. Elettrodomestici nuovissimi e di ogni genere (in particolare, oltre ad ogni asciugacapelli per ciascun bagno: asciugatrice, macchinetta nespresso, frullatore, etc.) piscina bellissima e quotidamente curata da un incaricato. Raccomando a tutti un soggiorno a Villa Soumela noi abbiamo trascorso in 8 persons 9 notti ed il tempo è volato! a metà soggiorno pulizie complete della villa and cambio biancheria … location a 5 stelle! Proprietario ed incaricato gentilissimi and disponibili ad ogni necessità. Esperienza da consigliare (ma solo agli amici altrimenti noi non troveremo più disponibilità) e da ripetere.

The description of the property has exceeded our expectations! The views were breath taking. Woke up the first morning bathing in sunlight! The pool was just right for our 2 families -brand new condition, safe side for kids to play, balcony with a good view for adult supervision. The manager waited for us with the keys and what’s available 24/7. Very convenient location for swimming pool and beach for swimming -great beach bar straight from the property yet, far enough (4-5 min drive) to avoid noise. VERY clean … Lots of space for storage. Excellent condition for showers, a / c, washer / dryer etc. Unforgettable vacation! Highly recommended … little piece of paradise on earth!

We (2 adults and 2 children) spent a wonderful holiday in Villa Soumela. The equipment is very comfortable with a great equipped kitchen and tastefully furnished living and bedrooms. Really fantastic are the large terraces with wonderful views of the sea and the sunrise, we could not get enough! Exceptional and due to the slightly cool weather in April especially at night very welcome: all rooms with central heating and in the living room a real stove, which we heated with olive wood.

We stayed at Villa Soumela in July 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. In no time you escape the summer hustle and bustle on the coast and can let in absolutely quiet hillside the view over the sea and the background of the mainland. The house is equipped with every conceivable comfort and offers plenty of space. This also applies to the seats and terraces in front of and behind the house, which are very generously designed. In the evening, the light wind from the mountain brings the scent of pine trees to the terrace. Due to its size, the swimming pool is ideal for swimming and brings perfect cooling at any time of the day. The location of the villa is convenient for exploring the island but also the city of Lefkada is within easy reach. The stay at Villa Soumela was pure relaxation and relaxation for us. We were thrilled and would definitely return, possibly in the spring or fall.

Nice villa with all the necessary things (and more) for your stays in Lefkada. Fantastic garden with private swimming pool and amazing view on the sea! Good position, near Nidri and the Islands.
