How far is the villa to an airport?
The airport to Lefkada is called Aktion International Airport which is located in Preveza. It is around 30 km away and takes around 40 minutes to arrive at our villa by car.
Can we drive from mainland to the villas?
It is convenient to drive to Lefkada by car. If you from an European city, you can take a ferry ship in major Italian ports with your car. Once you arrive at Igoumenitsa, it takes about 2 hours to arrive at Lefkada. If traveling with Greece, it takes 5 hours to drive from Athens, 6 hours from Sparta, and 4,5 hours from Thessaloniki. The road condition to Lefkada is very good.
Is there air conditioning in your villa?
Both Villa Soumela and Villa Stathis are fully air-conditioned. Each room in the villas has its own air conditioner so that you can enjoy the perfect temperature.
How close are the nearest beaches?
Our villa is only 1 km away from the town of Nikiana where you can find a very nice beach with crystal clear shallow water. There are however many great beaches in Lefkada. By car, it is easy to visit other stunning beaches.
How far is the villa to grocery stores?
In Nikiana, you can find supermarket, bakery, butchery, cafe, restaurants and it is only 1 km away.
We provide bath towels for our guests. Guests need to bring or purchase their own beach towels.
Is there any garden on the property?
Our villas are located at a mountain slope in Nikiana with many trees. The properties are large with front and backyard of lawn, trees and flowers. We also have an orchard across the road which is now open to our guests to rest under the newly built pergola and admire the beauty of the sea and the orchard.
We can provide a mobile BBQ oven, good enough for your party! Just let us know and we will get it ready for you.
Do you have hot water for shower?
Hot water is available 24 hours a day, so enjoy a shower any time!
On a hot summer day, you can also enjoy the outdoor shower after you finish swimming. The outdoor shower is right next to the swimming pool.
Water in Greece is of good quality. Tap water is generally potable. However we recommend you to drink the filtered fresh cold water from the refrigerator!
