We stayed in Villa Soumela for 12 nights (extended from an initial stay of 8 nights - yes we like it that much!). The location was exceptional, with a breathtaking view of the sea and Greek mainland and also very closed to the city of Nydri and Lefkada, where there are a lot of things to do and good places to eat. We were very well looked after with an exceptional accomodation, including everything that we could need, at high standards, with a nice pool to hangout (especially for the children) and overall great services. We had a wonderful host, very attentive to all our needs and we also had Jimmy, the administrator, which was also very helpful. I will (and already did) recommend this villa to my friends and family and would definitely like to come back.

We have travelled with our young kids and a group of friends enjoying a great time. If initially we booked a week, at the end we decided to stay a little bit longer. The villa finishes are top class (travertine stone and marble) having a nice private pool, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, multimedia room (can be used for living also) , private garage for two cars with tunnel access into the house. The location is safe and peaceful with amazing sun rises over the bay. You also meet the villa owners, two great people Sophia and Christos that were creating this beautiful holiday retreat, so YES this is a location where we will try to come back.

The description of property amenities far exceeded our expectations! The views were breath taking. Woke up the first morning bathing in sunlight! The pool was just right for our 2 families -brand new condition, safe side for kids to play, balcony with a good view for adult supervision. The manager waited for us with the keys and was available 24/7 to help/answer our questions for suggestions for things to do in the area. Very convenient location for alternating days between pool and beach for swimming -great beach bar straight down from the property yet, far enough (4-5 min drive) to avoid noise. VERY clean... Lots of space for storage. Excellent condition for showers, A/C, washer/dryer etc. Unforgettable vacation! Highly recommended...little piece of paradise on earth!

Nice villa with all the necessary things (and more) for your stays in Lefkada. Fantastic garden with private swimming pool and amazing view on the sea! Good position, near Nidri and the Islands. Sophia was perfect and we appreciated very much her efforts to satisfied our needs and requests. I'll raccomand Villa Suomela/Stathis to all who want to have a perfect stays in Lefkada!

Villa bellissima, pulitissima e curata nei minimi particolari sia all'interno che all'esterno. Elettrodomestici nuovissimi e di ogni genere (in particolare, oltre ad ogni asciugacapelli per ciascun bagno: asciugatrice, macchinetta nespresso, frullatore etc) piscina bellissima e quotidianamente curata da un incaricato. Raccomando a tutti un soggiorno a Villa Soumela noi abbiamo trascorso in 8 persone 9 notti ed il tempo è volato! a metà soggiorno pulizie complete della villa e cambio biancheria ... location a 5 stelle! Proprietario ed incaricato gentilissimi e disponibili ad ogni necessità. Esperienza da consigliare (ma solo agli amici altrimenti noi non troveremo più disponibilità) e da ripetere.

wir (2 Erw. und 2 Kinder) haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Villa Soumela verbracht. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel mit einer toll ausgestatteten Küche und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohn- und Schlafzimmern. Wirklich phantastisch sind die grossen Terassen mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenaufgang, wir konnten uns daran garnicht satt sehen! Aussergewöhnlich und aufgrund der etwas kühlen Witterung im April vorallem nachts sehr willkommen: alle Zimmer mit Zentralheizung und im Wohnzimmer ein richtiger Kaminofen, den wir mit Olivenbaumholz beheizt haben.

Wir waren im Juli 2012 in der Villa Soumela und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. in kürzester Zeit entflieht man dem sommerlichen Trubel an der Küste und kann in absolut ruhiger Hanglage den Blick über das Meer und das sich im Hintergrund abzeichnende Festland schweifen lassen. Das Haus ist mit allem erdenklichen Komfort ausgestattet und bietet sehr viel Platz .Das gilt auch für die Sitzplätze und Terrassen vor und hinter dem Haus,die sehr großzügig gestaltet sind. Am Abend bringt der leichte Wind vom Berg den Duft der Pinien auf die Terrasse. Das Schwimmbad ist auf Grund seiner Größe zum Schwimmen bestens geeignet und bringt perfekte Abkühlung zu jeder Tageszeit. Die Lage der Villa ist günstig für eine Erkundung der Insel aber auch die Stadt Lefkada ist schnell zu erreichen. Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Soumela war für uns Erholung und Entspannung pur. Wir waren begeistert und möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, eventuell auch im Frühjahr oder Herbst.
